Golf Club House
This competition design entry for a new club house at the well established Hilversum Golf Club aims to preserve and enhance the existing character of the internal and external spaces that help contribute to the Clubs unique identity.
The proposal is a series of smaller buildings that are clustered around a courtyard, evoking the sense of traditional farm and rural buildings yet delivering refined and modern spaces.
The design incorporates strong gables and large roofs (arranged around an informal central club space) to deliver a building that can appear grand but without ostentation.
A project with 31/44 Architects.
